Hextol
design incorporates features refined over many years' experience
|
Hextol
is a local Northumbrian name which was used in Saxon times for a
stream which flows through the heart of the historic market town
of Hexham. This
ancient town in rural Northumberland is a short distance from the
World Heritage Site of Hadrian's Wall and is where Sheila Hewson
Dobbins established Hextol in 1987 as Hextol Wear.
The name was
changed to Hextol Traditional Nightshirt Company when her daughter
Kathryn Hewson Hague joined her in 1999. Her eldest daughter, Sharon and her husband George, now run the business under Sheila's guidance.
Now
a family business the Hewson Coat of Arms adds a traditional look
to this traditional company.
Now, the move to secure online selling makes Hextol a business
that may be traditional, but we're also at the forefront of the
latest e-commerce technology, allowing more people than ever, all
over the world, to find out for themselves what is so special about
our famous nightwear.
